The Thunderbird is an enormous cousin to the Californian condor. It made its first and only appearance in War of the Cryptids.

It has the wingspan of a small airplane. Most sightings are from central America, but some sparse sightings have been located in the eastern and western U.S. and Canada. Many (mostly western) Native American tribes thought of the thunderbird as a very sacred animal. Argost in War of the Cryptids used them as transportation. It had two sets of wings, one as a regular bird wing and the other as bat wings.

  • Almost every state in the United States has had a Thunder Bird sighting, making it one of the few cryptids that's present in every states' folklore.
